The Food Pantry

The food pantry provides food to school children and families in need. Since our startup in 2005, we have distributed 500,000 pounds of food to over 3,500 families.
Toys for Tots
​
​
We launched Toys for Tots in 2005, and since then, we have served over 2,500 children. The Marine Corps supplies the gifts, and we work to bring the joy of Christmas to as many deserving families as possible. Each year, we serve over 300 children.
Back-to-School Program
​
​
We provide pre-packed backpacks to support children living in poverty or from financially struggling families. These backpacks contain essential items such as paper, pencils, pens, colored pencils, rulers, erasers, notebooks, tablets, calculators, and more. Since our inception, we have distributed backpacks to 58 schools across Halifax, Nash, and Edgecombe counties, including 44 Title 1 schools. To date, we have provided over 3,000 backpacks to these schools.
The year-round Program

This program provides school supplies for students and teachers in Nash, and Edgecombe counties. We have supplied over 42 principals in these counties with backpacks and essential classroom supplies.
Clothes Closet
​
​
We provide clothing to families that are displaced, including those affected by natural disasters. Since our startup, we have assisted over 1,200 families in the surrounding area with items such as dishes, linens, curtains, cookware, and bathroom supplies. Most of our referrals come from school social workers, the Red Cross, and other individuals who recommend our services.
